This course is 120 hours spread over the course of 5 weeks and is done online. It is made up of three modules ( Basic, intermediate and advanced ) which cover all the sections of the Canadian electrical code book. To attend this course ,you need a laptop, a calculator, a good internet connection and the Canadian Electrical Code book Part I (25th Edition, Safety Standard for Electrical Installations CSA C22.1:21). - Construction and factory sites tours: Tours are important as they allow you to see how the electrical field is in Canada. You can compare how electrical work is done in Canada to the way it is done in your home country. It also allows you to choose between industrial electrician 442A or construction and maintenance electrician 309A.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 or higher education.
- Demonstrates work experience as an electrician or automation technician.
- English or French proficiency (CLB5)
Course fees:
The fee for this course is $3000 (including HST) payable in 4 installments of $600, with an initial deposit of $600. To register, payment of this initial deposit is required through interac via email to registration@fitelectrician.ca. The subsequent installment payments of $600 weekly are via pre-authorized payments facilitated through a third party ROTESSA. Once the deposit is received, expect to receive an email requesting authorization to set up the weekly installments for a maximum of 4 payments.
Cancellation policy for this course:
You can opt to withdraw before course starts and get your full deposit back. If you withdraw during the first week you will receive half of your deposit. There is no refund of the deposit nor of the first pre-authorized payment after the second week of the course; would the remaining pre-authorized payments be cancelled.
